Exclusive: Elfie Hopkins Poster
Winstones Assemble! If this new Elfie Hopkins quad poster is anything to go by, all is assuredly not well in the Winstone household. Dad Ray and daughter Jaime have their hands full dealing with the film's sinister woodland goings-on. The last time Winston Sr. looked this focused he was being sucked into the space between spaces in The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull. At least this time he's armed, which is more than it looks like Elfie herself (Jaime Winstone) is boasting. The 22 year-old wildlife-loving amateur sleuth has to get by on wits dampened by a spliff or two as she sets to work uncovering bloody work afoot in her dormant hunting village. Well, wits and probably some shotguns. {Elfie Hopkins poster}Written and directed by Ryan Andrews, a previous collaborator with Jaime Winstone, Elfie Hopkins promises to showcase the younger Winstone's skills. Her character is inspired in her crime-solving mission by noirs like Chinatown and The Maltese Falcon and aided by geeky pal Dylan (Aneurin Barnard).Together, they get busy investigating the suspicious Gammon family, fresh from the big city and - we'd wager - not especially friendly.Elfie Hopkins makes her big-screen bow on April 20.
